I scored a cache of hot and fresh web schtuff from rubyred labs today. Yup, I subscribed to Valleyschwag and you should, too. You get a nice little pack of goodies wrapped (for the last time!) in burlap –mine had stickers (6), buttons (3), puzzle cards, a pencil, and t-shirts (2!). Definately worth the 14.95 subscription price. Already I can’t wait for next months schwag.
Suggestion: In the subscriber site, add links to the providers of each month’s goodies. Drives[...]

To honor the dead, we celebrate life–by planting flowers, herbs, vegetables, and ideas on how to make things better. Somehow appropriate, yet ironic.
Today I am thinking about junior high, or middle school, as it’s called now. Kate is right in the midst of it and I try to remember daily how it was for me back then. Were there fights? Who were my friends?
What I do know is that yearbook from ‘72 won’t be leaving the house any time soon, that’s what I know.
okay, there’s nothing earth-shatteringly different or unusual going on here. But if you’re looking for a straight up dose of rock and roll, you won’t go wrong. As a matter of fact, I’m on track 7 and i haven’t skipped a song yet. these guys from toronto (canadian indie music rules) are opening for seether soon and really ought to be getting some airplay in the states.
