Just stopped off at Stereogum to see that Axl Rose is talking about Chinese Democracy again. Chinese Democracy is the title of the long (9 years!) anticipated Guns ‘N Roses follow up to Use Your Illusion I & II. There is a torrent or two floating around…you know where to look. My personal opinion? Epic, in the tradition of November Rain. Can’t wait for this whole album to leak, uh, be released.

Holy hell. The new Drive-By Truckers is frickin’ awesome. I’m old school–I was a huge Southern Rock fan back in the day–and these guys are keeping it real, southern-style.
